On the other side of our company, the Sierra James Design-Build Remodel team brings homeowners’ visions to life through thoughtful design, collaborative planning, and high-quality craftsmanship. These clients aren’t recovering from disaster; they’re dreaming of something better.
Our featured bathroom remodel illustrates just how transformative intentional design can be. The “Before” bathroom had great bones, but it felt dark, heavy, and dated. The layout limited functionality, storage was lacking, and the overall space didn’t reflect how the homeowners wanted to use or experience their bathroom day to day.
Through the design-build process, we completely reconfigured the space to improve flow, function, and comfort. The bathtub was relocated to create a more open, balanced layout, allowing each element of the room to feel purposeful rather than crowded. This redesign also opened the door for additional storage, an essential upgrade that made the space more practical for everyday living.
Custom bathroom cabinetry played a major role in the transformation. The new cabinets provide significantly more storage while maintaining a clean, streamlined look. Thoughtfully designed drawers and cabinets help keep countertops clutter-free, while the soft blue finish adds warmth and personality without overpowering the space. Paired with modern hardware and clean-lined vanities, the cabinetry grounds the room and brings both beauty and function together.
The “After” is a fully reimagined bathroom that feels light, calming, and refined. Crisp tilework, a spa-like shower, a stand-alone tub, and a fresh color palette work together to create a space that feels both luxurious and livable. Every detail, from layout to storage to finishes, was carefully considered to support how the homeowners wanted the space to feel and function.
