Perched 100’ atop a volcanic rimrock cliff, this “Modern Mountain House” started as a complete tear-down and was rebuilt from the foundation up. Walls of glass gave the homeowner spectacular views of the legendary Deschutes River rapids below. Powder-coated custom steel staircase and modern finishes are an interesting juxtaposition with the towering white walls and soft white oak flooring. Bold earth tones mixed with Douglas Fir wood grain make this exterior pallet pop in its natural surroundings.
